28th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival: January 2 – 16, 2017. 
The famous Black Tie Awards Gala will be held Monday, January 2 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. This year’s honorees include Nicole Kidman receiving the International Star Award, Tom Hanks with the Icon Award, Casey Affleck with the Desert Palm Achievement Award, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone with the Vanguard Award.
The Palm Springs International Film Festival is one of the largest film festivals in North America, welcoming over 135,000 attendees every year for its lineup of new and celebrated international features and documentaries.
The complete schedule of screenings and events, as well as full descriptions will be available online beginning Dec 16th. Members of the Palm Springs International Film Society may purchase individual tickets or exchange 6-packs beginning Dec 17-19. General public sales begin December 20th.
